Thoroughly wash your clothes and then expel the moisture effectively through the capabilities of the AEG L7WEG841R Washer Dryer.

This appliance can handle up to 8kg of washing, at a time, or 4kg when performing the double function. Either way, it achieves results.

A plethora of washing programmes can be accessed through the control dial, with drying options at the push of a button on the digital display.

The 7000 series is a kombi product featuring DualSense technology, which alters the drum motion and temperature so it's specific to the load.

Lowering the heat and taking control of the drum movement means all sorts of garments, including delicates and outdoor wear, can be treated in one go.

Even handwash-only woollens become just one process, with certification from Woolmark Blue that these items will be cared for gently.

Savings can also be made on time, energy and water automatically, through a product that is A rated for energy efficiency and washing performance.

Steam cleaning is among the options found through the dial, which uses hot water vapour to release crinkles, refresh and sanitise clothes.

The Non Stop 60 minute programme takes just an hour to wash and dry small loads, with timed and automatic drying options available through the display.

There's also a wash and dry mode, where separate cycles can be combined and left to run, with a delay start function, from 30 minutes to 20 hours, should it be required.

You can decrease a cycle's duration by pressing the Quick Wash button, while two anti-stain phases are also present to work at 40 degrees and above.

Further benefits of the AEG L7WEG841R Washer Dryer

  • There's a pause button, so you can temporarily halt a programme at any time.
  • The temperature and spin speed, of up to 1600 rpm, can be altered manually.
  • A handy pre-wash option can begin to treat the contents before a cycle begins.
  • The noise level output is 51 decibels when washing and 60 decibels for drying.
  • Increase the warranty to two years (parts and labour), by registering the item.

Useful InformationLike most modern washer dryers, this one is cold fill only. Some older washer dryers also have a hot water intake, but in reality, little hot water ever gets into these machines on most washes. This is because hot water cools rapidly in household water pipes, and by the time it starts to run hot the washing machine has almost finished filling. This is particularly true nowadays because modern washing machines use a lot less water than ever before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic machine Bought this to replace an older Bosch washer/dryer. I really notice the difference in the speed of the wash, and the cleanliness of my clothes. There are plenty of wash options to suit my needs as a single person, including quick wash and delay timed, the "dry to dry 1 hour" cycle being a real bonus for a freshen up to wear next day. The machine is exceptionally quiet whilst washing and the timer keeps you abreast of any changes the machine may make as it progresses through its cycle. It looks modern and stylish, and the controls are easy to use and understand. As I guess with most people, I'll only use a couple of the 10+ programs available, this washer dryer more than meets my needs for my everyday laundry. I'd definitely recommend this machine for smaller households and those with open-plan kitchen/lounge.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Irritating but functional I’ve never owned a washer dryer so have nothing to compare to but there are so many things I find irritating about this machine which I’ve owned for About a year. You can’t have a rinse hold, you can’t have zero spin always minimum 400. Trying to add an extra rinse or the child lock involves holding down two buttons on the panel which never really register first time so you have to sit and keep attempting and it just seems no obvious rhyme or reason as to when it works or not. It washes clothes ok- I think my previous non combi washing machine Worked better. Have to use 40 degree cycle where as before 30 used to do the trick. The drier takes so long to dry anything I rarely ever use it and ended up buying a separate dryer. The washing powder drawer is narrow so powder ends up spilling into the fabric conditioner compartment so you have to be very careful if you want to use powder. Positives: It is very quiet and has a big drum. Summary : disappointed Too many annoying design features and not blown away by washing / drying capabilities. I wouldn’t buy again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality, well designed, good price This washer/dryer replaced a zanussi washer/dryer which had been repaired over the years between 10-15 years old and gave up on us so was replaced by domestic/general and replaced with same specs and functionality, unfortunately we had two leaks the first 2 days of ownership which I think was my fault but now works better than the zanussi we previously had the problem we used to have with the zanussi was cold water intake water pressure was a big problem due to living in a top floor flat, the delivery driver was paid to uplift old machine and plumbed in new aeg machine into wrong hot water intake which I changed, and is better quality than the previous machine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bit soon to really comment Finding the programs a bit complicated for we pensioners, but I hope that in time we will find the settings that would be best for what we need the machine to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Washing Machine of the future This machine is brilliant! My daughter had asked me recently, if we were still without a machine; as it is so quiet. It is sleek and modern, with a digital fascia and control system that is simple and easy to use. Clothes, blanket and towels have never looked so pristine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is what it says it is! After a month (thereabouts) we haven’t used every feature for all types of wash etc.... however when I’ve used this machine it’s easy to understand, quiet and efficient. The washing has always been impeccably clean and the drier side of the machine does a more than adequate job. I’m very pleased with our purchase

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent washer-dryer The AEG L7WEG841R washer-dryer is an excellent machine. Me and the missus have been using it for a few weeks now and it has been absolutely no problem. It has a nice large door for easy access and an intuitive user interface. It seems to get our clothes a little drier after the spin cycle than our previous machine despite both having a max spin of 1600 rpm. Installation was reasonably straightforward. The water-stop device on the inlet hose is a nice feature (although the risk of a hose leak in the first place is hopefully minimal). The end of the drain hose came with a fixed rubber nozzle for sticking directly into a drain pipe; but instead of using it I simply cut it off with a Stanley knife and then attached the supplied U-shaped plastic guide to the end of the hose and placed that into my drain pipe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied. Instructions for setting up are clearly presented, but these are hardly needed as programming controls are very intuitive. Display is clear. By and large the spin-dry function is impressively quiet. Overall it’s an impressive machine which washes and dries clothes to a very high standard. 5 stars.
