Leicester City F.C. Mural By Richard Wilson Complete

After nearly a month of hard work, London-based artist and van driver Richard Wilson has finished creating a mural depicting the starting line-up and manager of Leicester City F.C.

Richard first painted Claudio Ranieri as a tribute to the inspiring run Leicester City were making in the Premier League, stumbling on our showroom wall on Kate Street and deciding it was the perfect location for his art. After seeing the remarkable quality and care that was taken in painting the Leicester City manager, we commissioned Richard to add to the wall to commemorate The Foxes becoming the 2015/16 champions of the Premier League.

Support from the local community, businesses and a passion for large-scale graffiti art have surely helped Richard to finish this impressive tribute to our beloved team. We thank Richard for all his efforts and everybody who came to see the mural, who stopped to chat, who sent pictures to us for our tribute page, and who supported Richard to make this a reality. Of course, a huge thank you to The Foxes for their inspiring 2015/16 season!

The mural can be located on Kate Street and stretches across the entire back and side walls of our flagship showroom. Details on the process can be found over at Richard’s blog.
