Easy Steam
This special function allows water to evaporate inside the oven cavity, improving and speeding up the cooking process. The nutritional properties of foods remain intact, preserving the flavors, appearance and texture of the dishes.
Cooking Functions
- Leavening: only the upper heating element switches on, with heat distributed by natural convection at 40°C
- Convection cooking with ventilation: upper and lower heating elements and fan operate together, with heat diffused by forced convection at 40–250°C; recommended for bread, pizza and large volume foods requiring even internal and external cooking, such as rolled roasts, turkey legs and joints of meat
- True Fan Cooking: heating element located around the fan allows cooking many kinds of food on different levels without mixing flavors and smells; ideal for foods that need thorough cooking while staying tender and moist
- Fan Assisted Grilling: speeds up overall cooking and is ideal for gratin dishes where you want food thoroughly cooked without burning the surface
- Grill: variable electric grill with low setting for gentle grilling of snacks or toasts and high setting for quick grilling of steaks or chicken
- Convection Cooking: heat from top and bottom of the oven; suitable for roasting, baking, pizzas and cakes
- Top heat only: heat from the top element allows completion of cooking for dishes requiring light browning on the surface
- Base heat only: heat from the lower element used primarily for food needing higher temperature at its base; perfect for cakes, pies, quiches and pastries
- Defrost: fan operates without heating; even air circulation results in rapid defrost of frozen foods
Idroclean Self-Cleaning Function
This function removes dirt inside the oven without using detergent, thanks to moisture generated by water warming at 80–90°C.
