Like most modern washing machines, this one is cold fill only. Some older washers also have a hot water intake, but in reality, little hot water ever gets into these machines on most washes. This is because hot water cools rapidly in household water pipes, and by the time it starts to run hot the washing machine has almost finished filling. This is particularly true nowadays because modern washing machines use a lot less water than ever before.
EZDispense™ Auto Dosing
ezDispense™ detects load size and determines the right amount of detergent to ensure washing performance based on the load size. It holds enough detergent for approximately one month of use. It is flexible to convert the softener compartment to the detergent compartment for your preference. If you do not use softener, the detergent compartment can be extended up to 31 dosage. The internal sensor detects the level of detergent remaining within the cartridge and alerts you when its time to refill.
AI Direct Drive™
Users can experience the ultimate in fabric care with our AI Inverter DirectDrive™ technology, enhanced by deep-learning AI to analyze wash patterns from big data, classify fabrics into softness levels, and provide 6Motions through precise motor control, ensuring maximized clothes protection to keep them lasting longer.
Inverter Direct Drive™
The Inverter Direct Drive Motor™ eliminated the traditional belt and pulley system, which means fewer moving parts. Fewer moving parts means less wear and tear, making our LG washing machines much more durable. It is backed by a 10-year warranty.
Microplastic Care Cycle
Microplastics, a major cause of marine environmental pollution, are generated from synthetic fibers during the washing process. By applying delicate washing motions, the friction of the fabric is reduced, resulting in a decrease in the generation of microplastics during the washing process.

TurboWash™360
Your laundry can be thoroughly cleaned in just 39 minutes without compromising fabric protection. Thanks to the 3D multi-nozzles that shoot water in four directions, every inch of your laundry gets washed. The Inverter Pump changes the power of the water sprayed, depending on the level of clean needed. By maximizing the dynamic between spray power, detergent, and cycle motion, the LG washer reduces laundry time to just 39 minutes, saving energy by 28%, and reducing clothing damage by 14%.
