Low-Vibration Storage

Even slight vibrations can disturb the wine maturing process and prevent the tannins from settling. Specially developed, exceptionally low-vibration compressors in all the wine cabinets mean that the wine is optimally stored.

Precision Temperature Control

If not kept at the right storage temperature, wine can be harmed and lose its quality. The precise electronic control system ensures that the required temperature is constantly maintained in your Liebherr wine storage cabinet. It can be set to the exact degree between +5 °C and +20 °C. The current temperature is shown on the display.

Humidity Management

Maintaining the proper humidity is an important aspect for the storage of wines. In this way, corks remain supple and do not dry out. Wine should be stored in a horizontal position to keep the corks moist from the inside. The air humidity can be controlled as required in the wine storage cabinets by pressing the ventilation button. With HumiditySelect, you can set the humidity on the display of the GrandCru models in two stages: Standard Humidity and High Humidity. The optimum humidity ensures that the corks stay moist and keep your bottles tightly sealed. An easily retrofittable water tray helps maintain optimal humidity in the appliance by collecting water from inside the appliance or from you filling it as required, ensuring your wine collection is kept in ideal conditions in any environment.

Temperature Monitoring and Alarms

Your Liebherr constantly monitors the temperature in the appliance, and lets you know both audibly and visibly with the temperature alarm if it strays from the set value. The display also shows by exactly how many degrees the temperature has fallen or risen, allowing you to take action in the unlikely event of a fluctuation. With TempProtect Plus, our wine storage cabinets constantly measure the temperature with two sensors. This gives you double the assurance that your wines are protected from temperature fluctuations. This is because you are alerted as soon as one of the sensors detects a critical change in temperature, allowing you to take action quickly.

Door and Access Features

Height-adjustable feet provide maximum stability. With its height-adjustable feet, your wine storage cabinet can be optimally aligned and also adapts perfectly to uneven surfaces. This means you can rest assured that the door always closes tightly, no heat gets in, no condensation forms and the storage conditions remain constant, thus protecting the quality of your wine. The SelfClosing mechanism ensures the door closes automatically when opened less than 90° - always as gently as your valuable wines require. The EasyFill loading aid ensures that the door remains open from an angle of 90° or greater for particularly easy filling. If the door of your wine storage cabinet remains open for more than 60 seconds, the door alarm is activated. The door alarm sounds audibly and is accompanied by pulsating appliance lighting. This allows you to react as quickly as possible to maintain the optimal storage conditions for your wines.

Security Features

Securing your wine collection with a door lock is one thing, but it's just as important to prevent unauthorised use of your wine storage cabinet. The display lock, which is activated via the menu, offers a particularly reliable solution. The three-digit PIN secures your settings and therefore the optimal conditions for your wine. The GrandCru wine storage cabinet can be easily retrofitted with a mechanical door lock - giving you full control at all times of who accesses your precious wines.

Interior Design and Storage

The combination of wooden shelves and an elegant metal rear wall panel in graphite grey make the interior of your GrandCru wine storage cabinet an eye-catcher even when empty. The rear wall panel is not just a design element, it also provides sophisticated air circulation and stylishly keeps the wine away from the technology behind it. The interior has been designed so that your wine bottles can be stored neck-to-neck on the wooden shelves, maximising capacity. Height-adjustable wooden shelves allow you to organise a growing wine collection with ease, providing plenty of room even for ever-increasing wine stocks.

Lighting

Solid door models have LED ceiling lighting that illuminates the whole interior and shows off your wine collection to its best advantage. The LEDs are located right at the front to ensure that no bottle is in the shade. On appliances with glass doors, presentation lighting makes your wine an eye-catcher even when the door is closed.

Air Quality and Filtration

To ensure that your wine can mature in optimum air quality, all Liebherr wine storage cabinets have an activated charcoal filter that reliably binds odours of all kinds. This means your wine will keep its pure bouquet. To make sure that it stays that way, your Liebherr reminds you every 6 months to change the filter, which you can easily do yourself.

Maintenance and Durability

The door seal ensures that the door is always airtight for optimal storage conditions at all times. If it ever has to be replaced, you can easily do it yourself in just a few simple steps. This means that your wine storage cabinet will always be faultless and hygienically clean.

It's not only a pleasure to open the wine, but also the door - with the elegant black slimline handle. Many hands have helped ensure that it's comfortable to use, resulting in a tangibly ergonomic handle with an exceptional feel.

User Interface and Controls

Operating your wine storage cabinet is smoother than a summer wine. The high-quality design of the LC touch display allows all the functions to be selected with ease. The menu items are clearly arranged, and a gentle tap of the finger is all it takes to select them. If you just want to check the current temperature, that's even easier, because it's permanently shown on the display. Simply choose between nine languages on the touch display: DE, EN, FR, ES, IT, NL, CS, PL, PT - and you can operate your Liebherr in the language you want.

Power Failure Protection

Just like in a wine cellar, our wine storage cabinets provide ideal conditions for properly storing valuable collections. Nevertheless, disruptions such as power cuts can sometimes occur, which is why all the appliances are equipped with an alarm function for this eventuality. If something critical happens, they will reliably let you know.

SabbathMode

On the Sabbath, all activities must stop - and the same goes for electrical appliances. Your Liebherr takes this into account. In SabbathMode, all the lights in the GrandCru wine storage cabinet are switched off, as are all sounds and the display. After 80 hours, SabbathMode deactivates automatically.

Smart Device Connectivity

The GrandCru wine storage cabinet can be quickly set up in a network with the SmartDevice box accessory (retrofittable). This gives you all the benefits of the SmartDevice app. You have access to your appliance from anywhere and can view and change settings such as the temperature while you are away. It also sends security information about the appliance and your wine to your smartphone.
