If you do not have a matching hob, the air quality sensor takes over. It automatically monitors the air quality, adapts the ventilation power level to the amount of vapour and odours and runs until the kitchen air is cleared of all unpleasant odours. And if you want to stay in control, you can also operate the hood manually from the hob.
