Small scratches from moving pots or salt can occur during cooking, but the deep black matt surface makes scratches, fingerprints and streaks far less visible than on standard ceramic induction glass. Its soft, light-diffusing finish cleans quickly and streak-free, so the cooktop keeps a refined, flawless look with less effort — leaving you more time to cook. According to internal lab tests comparing Schott CERAN® matte line with standard glass-ceramic, results depend on light source, viewing angle, volatility and sponge tolerances.
flexInduction Plus: Smart, extendable cooking zone
The flexible cooking zones automatically extend in two directions to add more depth or width for your extra-large cookware up to 30 cm in diameter. If one zone is not big enough for your cookware item, your hob takes control and activates more inductors for even heating. It's also an excellent option for using teppanyakis or griddle plates up to 40 cm long.
touchSlider: intuitive power level control
Simply touch or slide your finger to control the power level of your cooking zones. The heat regulation takes place in half levels, up to a maximum setting of nine.
fryingSensor Pro: consistent temperature control
The fryingSensor Pro keeps the heat in the pan at a consistent level, with the choice of 11 temperature options. The intelligent sensor controls the temperature and avoids burning, so you get excellent results every time. Please note that fryingSensor Pro only works on cooking zones marked with the Frying Sensor symbol.
Intelligent flexZones: automatic zone adjustment
Sensors under the glass ceramic automatically detect the shape and size of pots and pans and immediately combine or split the cooking zones accordingly. If you move the cookware, the settings are transferred instantly. Simply place the cookware on the cooktop, turn it on and enjoy flexible cooking.

Induction hobs can be installed either flush or surface mounted. We are only able to install surface mounted hobs unless the worktop cut-out has already been prepared as per the example image below. If you're buying a replacement, it's likely you already have this in place.
