Product Overview
The NikolaTesla Prime Plus S is an 83cm black glass induction hob with integrated extraction in a duct out configuration. It combines refined aesthetic and functional design with modern industrial styling, featuring four independent cooking zones and a central grill that conceals a powerful suction area.
Cooking Zones and Bridge Zone
Four independent cooking zones are hidden beneath the black tempered glass surface. The hob includes one bridge zone on the left hand side, which lets you merge two adjacent cooking zones while maintaining uniform, constant temperature, even when using very large pans.
Integrated Extraction System
The elegant and robust central grill conceals a powerful suction area that can be used in automatic mode through Autocapture technology, which adjusts automatically to the number and power of the cooking zones you are using. The Comfort Silence feature provides greater extraction power while operating more quietly to avoid intruding on your surroundings. A Delay Switch Off function allows you to leave the hood running after cooking to remove stubborn odours.
Durable Cast Iron Surface
The resistant cast iron material used for the cooking area serves a dual purpose: during extraction, it functions as the suction area, and when not in use, it becomes a practical support surface for pots and pans, including hot cookware or other objects. Grease can be removed from the top without effort, and the inner part is easily accessible for cleaning in case of accidental spills. A special valve allows discharge of any spilled liquid to ensure maximum kitchen hygiene.
Cooking Functions and Controls
- Autocapture: automatically adjusts to the number and power of cooking zones in use
- Bridge Zone: merges two adjacent zones for uniform temperature with large pans
- Timer: set minutes for automatic zone shut-off with beeper alert
- Warming Mode: keeps cooked dishes warm, reheats cold dishes, or heats liquids such as milk, broth, creams and sauces
- Stop & Go: single touch button to switch off all cooking zones at once
- Child Lock: prevents accidental activation of cooking zones or extraction
Maintenance and Cleaning
Filters can be easily accessed and removed for washing or replacement. A Maintenance Alarm features an indicator light that alerts you when filters need to be washed or replaced.
