DirectSelect Cooktop Control
The intuitive control panel and supportive lightline make it quicker and easier to select cooking zones and set the specific power level.
Automatic Hood Control via Home Connect
Your matching hood is automatically controlled by your hob and a connected Home Connect account. An algorithm adjusts the hood's power based on your hob settings, keeping your kitchen free of odours and vapour while preventing fingerprints on the hood.
Wi-Fi Connected Hob and Hood Interaction
Both the electric hob and associated hood are equipped with a Wi-Fi module, enabling them to interact. As soon as your hob is activated, your hood switches on and starts extracting steam. When you finish cooking, the hood automatically switches off after a brief run-on time. You can activate manual mode on the hob controls to take direct control of your hood's power levels and lighting via the user interface on your hob, giving you complete control of both appliances from one set of controls.
PowerBoost for Faster Heating
This feature adds a boost of power for ultra-quick heating on your induction hob. Use it to boil large quantities of water and heat almost 35% faster compared to the highest power level.
Pause Function
You can easily pause the heating and block all buttons on your hob when you need to attend to something else. Simply continue cooking within the next ten minutes, whether you need to answer the door, take a call, or wipe up spills from the hob surface.
QuickStart Function
The QuickStart function detects where you have placed the pot and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the control interface, allowing you to select your desired cooking level without delay.
Memory Function
When you turn off the cooktop, it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched off and back on again within a short time, the former settings are still available.
Automatic Timer Shutoff
Once the set time is over, the assigned cooking zone is turned off automatically, saving you an extra hand movement.
ChildLock
The ChildLock locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes in settings.
Remote Diagnostics Support
If your appliance is not working as it should, Remote Diagnostics is available to help. Simply call the Home Connect Hotline and make an appointment for a remote diagnosis of your connected appliance via the Internet. With your permission, Bosch customer service can remotely screen your appliance, locate the problem area, and provide clear advice. If the problem cannot be solved remotely, a Bosch service technician can be informed and come to your home equipped with all the necessary parts already in hand.

Induction hobs can be installed either flush or surface mounted. We are only able to install surface mounted hobs unless the worktop cut-out has already been prepared as per the example image below. If you're buying a replacement, it's likely you already have this in place.
