Modern Induction Cooking
This Smeg induction hob uses electrical induction instead of traditional heating elements. Heat is generated only at the bottom of the vessel, while the surface remains cool and safe to touch during cooking. This method reduces heat loss and makes cooking more energy efficient.
Cooking Zones and Power Control
The hob features 4 cooking zones, each with booster function for immediate heat to speed up your cooking. You can choose from 14 power levels to adjust heat intensity based on your needs.
Intuitive Touch Controls
Peak control and intuitive touch controls make this induction hob easy to use. Automatic boiler recognition allows you to simply place your saucepan on the cooker and the hob will find the matching area automatically.
Timer Function
Each zone has a timer that automatically turns off the zone after your selected time setting and informs you that your meal is complete.
Easy Cleaning
You can easily wipe the surface of the induction hob when removing boilers and pots.
Compatible Cookware
When cooking on an induction hob, you must use saucepans and frying pans with a bottom made of ferromagnetic metal such as stainless steel. You can test compatibility by placing a regular magnet on the bottom of the saucepan - if it sticks, the saucepan is suitable for use on the induction hob.

Induction hobs can be installed either flush or surface mounted. We are only able to install surface mounted hobs unless the worktop cut-out has already been prepared as per the example image below. If you're buying a replacement, it's likely you already have this in place.
