Intelligent i-Dos Detergent Dispensing
The intelligent i-Dos Detergent scan function helps you set detergent dosage with maximum precision. Simply fill the containers and scan the barcodes on the bottles via the Home Connect app to send settings for water hardness and detergent consistency directly to your washing machine. The i-Dos system then dispenses the optimal amount of detergent, wash after wash. The Home Connect app also monitors detergent levels and sends you a notification before it runs out. i-Dos accurately dispenses detergent based on fabric type, water hardness and degree of soiling, saving both detergent and water by avoiding unnecessary rinsing.
The Detergent scan function requires having a Home Connect account, for which separate terms of use apply. To use this feature you must install the Home Connect app on your smart device and link your washing machine to your Home Connect account.
Steam Option for Wrinkle Reduction
The Added steam option includes a steam cycle that helps reduce wrinkles by up to 40%. The smartFinish steam programme reduces wrinkles on your laundry so that your T-shirts are ready to wear and your shirts can be ironed much easier, helping to speed up your laundry process.
Wi-Fi Connectivity and Home Connect App

Like most modern washing machines, this one is cold fill only. Some older washers also have a hot water intake, but in reality, little hot water ever gets into these machines on most washes. This is because hot water cools rapidly in household water pipes, and by the time it starts to run hot the washing machine has almost finished filling. This is particularly true nowadays because modern washing machines use a lot less water than ever before.
