AllergyPlus Programme: Hygienic Washing
The AllergyPlus programme kills 99.99% of common germs and is tough on germs but gentle on sensitive skin. It keeps the temperature during the wash process constant, so washed fabrics are particularly hygienically clean. Germs and common allergy triggers like dust mites are effectively targeted. Your laundry is also thoroughly rinsed to minimise detergent residues, delivering extra hygienic washing.
VarioDrum System: Gentle and Effective Washing
The unique, patented VarioDrum system uses even water distribution to gently and efficiently wash all types of clothing without stretching, creasing or damaging your most beloved items. Depending on the selected programme, the droplet-shaped design with asymmetrical paddles gently rotates your laundry to the centre, regardless of rotation direction. This ensures an intensive clean for more heavily soiled clothes and a quicker, more thorough clean for the entire load.
Quiet Wash Option
The Bosch Quiet Wash programme lowers the noise levels of the cycle to avoid disruptions and maintain a peaceful household.
Reload Function: Add Items Mid-Cycle
The Reload function lets you easily add or remove clothes during wash cycles. Just press the Reload button and open the door, then add your forgotten items and continue the wash. As a safety feature, you cannot use Reload if the suds are hotter than 50°C or the water level is too high.
AquaStop System: Double Protection Against Water Damage
The AquaStop System consists of a special double-walled feed hose, a safety valve and a floor tank with float switch, preventing water damage of any kind, whether in the supply hose or from a leak in the machine.
AntiVibration Design: Quiet Operation

Like most modern washing machines, this one is cold fill only. Some older washers also have a hot water intake, but in reality, little hot water ever gets into these machines on most washes. This is because hot water cools rapidly in household water pipes, and by the time it starts to run hot the washing machine has almost finished filling. This is particularly true nowadays because modern washing machines use a lot less water than ever before.
