Cooking with Induction
This Smeg Victoria Aesthetic induction hob uses electrical induction instead of traditional heating elements. Heat is generated only at the bottom of the vessel, while the surface remains cool and can be touched during cooking. This reduces heat loss and makes cooking more energy efficient. The hob features 4 heating zones, providing ample room for multiple boilers and pots.
Intuitive Controls and Power Levels
The induction hob has 9 power levels and intuitive controls. You can adjust power consumption as needed with these settings: 1900 W, 2600 W, 3000 W, 3800 W, 4500 W.
Quickstart and Automatic Boiler Recognition
The device automatically discovers which heating zone you have placed your vessel in, allowing you to start cooking in seconds. With automatic boiler recognition, you simply place the cook vessel on the cooker and the hob finds the matching area automatically.
Powerboost Function
This modern induction hob is equipped with a Powerbooster function for even faster heating on all zones, helping you save time on cooking.
Safety Features
The hob includes automatic shut-off when overheating is detected. A residual heat indicator shows whether a zone is warm, allowing you to use residual heat to warm food faster. A child lock can be activated to prevent children from accidentally turning on the hob or changing the settings. For safety, Smeg also protects against automatic start.
Easy Cleaning
You can easily wipe the surface of the induction hob when removing boilers and pots.
Cookware Requirements
When cooking on an induction hob, you must use saucepans and frying pans with a bottom made of ferromagnetic metal such as stainless steel. You can check compatibility by placing a regular magnet on the bottom of the saucepan - if it sticks, the saucepan will work on the induction hob.

Induction hobs can be installed either flush or surface mounted. We are only able to install surface mounted hobs unless the worktop cut-out has already been prepared as per the example image below. If you're buying a replacement, it's likely you already have this in place.
