At Marks Electrical, we use our own fleet of vehicles to deliver goods throughout most of England and some of Wales.

  • All standard deliveries for orders of £250 or more are free.
  • There is a £9.99 delivery charge for orders of less than £250.
  • For orders of small items (excluding hobs), there is a £4.99 delivery charge using a courier company (we currently use DPD and APC).
  • All deliveries for orders of TVs are free of charge.
  • If your order is in stock, we may be able to offer you next day delivery.
  • There are a handful of postcodes we don't deliver to - mostly rural or outlying areas.
  • We do not deliver to Northern Ireland at this time.

Our delivery types

Standard delivery

Standard Delivery is available on all products, whether they're in or out of stock. Just enter your postcode on a product page or at the checkout and you will be given a choice of dates.

Installation

We offer our installation services for appliances to most of England and Wales.

Click & collect

If you need an item straight away, you can take advantage of our Click and Collect service and pick the item up yourself direct from the Marks Electrical warehouse. Please refer to our Click and Collect page for more details.

Weekend delivery

Not free during the week? We deliver on Saturday and Sunday. Just enter your postcode into any postcode checker on a product page to see if the option is available to you.

Next day delivery

Next Day Delivery applies to products which are in stock only. You'll need to order before 6pm the day before to access this service. Enter your postcode into the postcode checker on a product page and if the option is available, you'll be given it.

Things to keep in mind

We deliver between 7am and 8pm and someone must be at the delivery address to accept, sign for, and inspect the goods when we arrive. To keep our prices as competitive as possible, our standard deliveries are made by small delivery teams. Our drivers will wheel your product into an unobstructed ground floor room of your choice. As a result, we only offer our standard delivery service to ground floor properties and blocks of flats with a lift (providing the appliance will fit). Our ground floor deliveries can include a maximum of 4 steps. Please call us if this affects your order as undelivered products caused by this problem will incur a redelivery charge.

**You can still arrange for these products to be delivered to a ground floor location. Delivery upstairs or downstairs must then be arranged privately.

Arranging a Delivery Date

Items which we hold in stock will usually be delivered to you within a few working days - often the following day. You will be able to choose your delivery date just before you pay for your order. If you need to change your delivery for a completed order, you can do this on our Track Order page. Just enter your order number and postcode.

Items which we have to order from the manufacturer will take longer to deliver; typically, 6-12 working days depending on the particular product. You can track your order status on our website; when the Track Order page shows your items are in stock you can book your delivery date online, otherwise we will send you an email/SMS when your items are ready for delivery.

Non-Billing Address Deliveries

When you request delivery to an address other than your billing address, we may undertake additional security checks on your payment before accepting the order. This is part of our standard security procedure to help protect you against fraudulent misuse of your credit/debit card details. In some circumstances this may result in your order being delayed, therefore if possible, we suggest that you arrange delivery to the billing address instead.

Delivery Timeslots

You will be notified of your estimated delivery timeslot by SMS between 7pm and 9pm the day before delivery. As we operate a rapid next day delivery service, we will be unable to notify you of your timeslot any earlier than this because our automated route planning system will be planning the delivery routes up until this time. This means that you cannot choose/change your delivery timeslot.

Please ensure that you are available all day on the date you select. The majority of our deliveries arrive within or before the estimated timeslot but we can't control the traffic so there may be unavoidable delays. If you find you cannot keep to your chosen delivery date you must notify us before 12 noon one working day before otherwise failed delivery or redelivery charges will apply (see below).

Delivery Times

Our standard deliveries are made between the hours of 7am and 8pm, 7 days a week. A signature will be required upon delivery.

Failed Delivery Charges

Where a pre-arranged agreed day has been given for delivery and we are prevented from delivering the goods due to there being no one at the address, or we are unable to make the delivery for other reasons such as those mentioned above, you may be liable to pay a failed delivery charge. This also applies if you cancel a delivery after the goods have been loaded onto the van for delivery to you. Details of failed delivery charges are set out in our Terms and Conditions.

Old Product Collection

For a fee of £19.99 we can remove your old appliance when we deliver your new one. The old appliance must be disconnected and pulled out of situ before the delivery team arrive.
