Our Delivery Service
At Marks Electrical, we use our own fleet of vehicles and we deliver nationwide throughout England and Wales (with the exception of a few outlying areas). We do not currently deliver to Scotland or Northern Ireland.
Free delivery is available for orders over £100. Depending on where exactly you live will determine which of the free delivery options you are entitled to.
Free* Delivery Types
Standard Delivery is available on all products, whether they're in or out of stock. Just enter your postcode on a product page or at the checkout and you will be given a choice of dates.
Next Day Delivery
Next Day Delivery applies to products which are in stock only. You'll need to order before 6pm the night before. Enter your postcode into the postcode checker on a product page and if the option is available, you'll be given it.
Not free during the week? We deliver on Saturday and Sunday. Just enter your postcode into any postcode checker on a product page to see if the option is available to you.
Same Evening Delivery
This service is currently only available for orders being delivered to an address in the East Midlands. Deliveries are made between 6pm and 10.30pm. You'll need to order before 4.00pm, Mon-Sat to ensure delivery that evening and the product must be in stock. Use the postcode checker on a product page to see if the option is available to you.

We'll give you a 2 hour timeslot for your delivery, so you won't have to wait in all day.
To keep our prices as competitive as possible, our standard deliveries are made by one man only. Our driver will wheel your product into an unobstructed ground floor room of your choice. As a result we only offer our standard delivery service to ground floor properties. Please call us if this affects your order as undelivered products caused by this problem will incur a redelivery charge. Please refer to our Delivery Guide for a list of additional factors you need to consider when arranging delivery.
Two Man Delivery
If your delivery is not to an unobstructed ground floor area, then we can provide a two-man delivery service, but at a premium of £29.99. For a general guide on the kind of delivery you will need, please refer to the table below. If you are still unsure then feel free to call us on 0116 2 514 513.

For American fridge freezers, range cookers and other large items, a two man delivery is often strongly recommended. Watch the videos below to help you decide whether a free one man delivery will suffice, or whether you need our two man delivery service.

Same Day Delivery
We offer a same day delivery service to most of the East Midlands when you order any In Stock item before 4:00pm, Mon-Sat.
Enter your postcode into the "Get Your Delivery Date" box on any In Stock item page to see if you qualify for same day delivery.
Please note: The postcodes we deliver to the same day may be subject to change from time-to-time. Additionally this service may be not always be available at times of high demand.
Non-Billing Address Deliveries
When you request delivery to an address other than your billing address we may undertake additional security checks on your payment before accepting the order. This is part of our standard security procedure to help protect you against fraudulent misuse of your credit/debit card details. In some circumstances this may result in your order being delayed, therefore if possible we suggest that you arrange delivery to the billing address instead.
Arranging a Delivery Date
Items which we hold in stock will usually be delivered to you within a few working days - often the following day. You will be able to choose your delivery date just before you pay for your order.
Items which we have to order from the manufacturer will take longer to deliver; typically 6-12 working days depending on the particular product. You can track your order status on our website; when the Track Order page shows your items are in stock please call us to arrange delivery, otherwise we will send you an email/SMS when your items are ready for delivery.
Our standard deliveries are made between the hours of 7am and 6pm, 7 days a week. A signature will be required upon delivery.
You will be notified of your 2-hour delivery timeslot by email and SMS between 7pm and 8pm the day before delivery. As we operate a rapid next day delivery service, we will be unable to notify you of your timeslot any earlier than this because our automated route planning system will be planning the delivery routes up until this time.
This means that you cannot choose/change your delivery timeslot, and once issued you must be available to accept delivery. Please ensure that you can be available all day on the date you select; if you subsequently find you cannot keep to your chosen delivery date you must notify us before 12 noon one working day before otherwise failed delivery or redelivery charges will apply (see below).
Failed Delivery Charges
Where a pre-arranged agreed day has been given for delivery and we are prevented from delivering the goods due to there being no one at the address, or we are unable to make the delivery for other reasons such as those mentioned above, you may be liable to pay a failed delivery charge. This also applies if you cancel a delivery after the goods have been loaded onto the van for delivery to you. Details of failed delivery charges are set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Old Product Collection
For a fee of £19.99 we can remove your old appliance when we deliver your new one. The old appliance must be disconnected and outside your property at time of delivery.
