Hotpoint

Hotpoint was founded in the UK in 1911. In 1920 it entered into a joint venture with General Electric to sell GE branded goods to the UK market. In 2007 Hotpoint was taken over by Indesit and merged with its Ariston brand to create Hotpoint-Ariston. Hotpoint has been a household name in the UK home appliance market for many years, and although most well-known for producing washing machines, its current product line also includes fridges, dishwashers and cookers.
